These lay people assist the priest with the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ. Adults and teens are invited. Special training is provided to perform this function. Contact the Parish Office.

The role of the lector involves the preparation of the Scripture texts before the Mass, the prayerful proclamation of the Old & New Testament readings, and the general intercessions. The role of the commentator involves relaying the opening announcements to the congregation, special announcements and the concluding announcements. Formation and training are provided. Children’s Liturgy of the Word
